I Found a Super Simple Trick to Get Rid of Slugs!

Slugs are absolutely nasty. They can wipe out my bok choy in one night, bite holes into my eggplants, and slime across my lettuce and spinach, making me lose all appetite for salad. I've tried everything to get rid of them: 💸 Bought all kinds of slug traps, baits, and repellents — nothing worked. 🌙 Went out at night to hand-pick them — disgusting! But no matter how many I caught, more would come. Then one day, I accidentally discovered a miracle. I dumped some expired cornmeal on the soil surface (meant for compost, but I didn’t bury it fully).

The next morning — a few slugs were dead around the cornmeal! I tried again the following night, sprinkling more cornmeal. Third night: No slugs. Gone. 😳 Of course, two weeks later, they came back — Turns out, the baby slugs (from eggs) were hatching. So I repeated the process: 📆 Sprinkled cornmeal every 7–10 days for 6 to 7 weeks… And then, they stopped coming. I barely see any now! 🌽 Cost of cornmeal? About $2. ✨ Results? No more slimy invaders. 🧘 Peace of mind and safe homegrown salad — priceless.
