Bloomsdale is by far the most popular and widely available open pollinated spinach. Glossy, dark green savoyed leaves are sweet, tender, fleshy and have a rich flavor.

Spinach also grows well in the cool, short days of fall. Start
seeding again in the beginning of August. Keep the seedlings
shaded and watered and in the summer heat and they should

Harvesting
Harvest spinach before it flowers, cutting just above the root attachment. For a continuous supply of spinach, sow every 7 days. Spinach has the best flavor if harvested when young. Bloomsdale Long Standing Spinach matures in 40-48 days.
